20 years???? Where has the time gone? Sometimes I still think I'm a kid myself but then reality rears it's truthful head (truthful GREY head)! Over the past decade I co-owned my own company for about 7 years and then decided that the time I was missing with my family was more important that any business endeavor and I walked away. The time that I was able to spend with my husband and three sons in the couple of years that followed I would not trade for anything. I was able to home school the boys, which has been a wonderful, crazy, enlightening, experience for all of us. I am also happy to say that during my "down time" at home, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of writing/publishing my first novel. CRUMBY became available for purchase on August 8, 2008 and a few people have even bought it. Most recently, I joined Starbucks Coffee Company and manage a store in Tampa for them.

At the 10 yr reunion I was awarded the "Fertile Turtle" award; what an honor. Well, those turtles are growing up rapidly. I would love to be at the reunion but I am not sure yet what the first couple of weeks in August will look like for our family. Our oldest son just graduated and will be heading to Milligan College (TN) in August. If we are home, I will be there. If not, I look forward to lots of pictures and stories on Facebook!
